What does Gartenrosiqs teach?
Game design: mechanics, player choices, level structure, balancing, narrative, interfaces, progression and playtesting.
What format are the courses?
The courses are English-language PDF guides with explanations, examples and exercises. They are not video lessons or live classes.
Where should a beginner start?
Start with Free Map to describe a basic player action, write rules and sketch a small paper level.
Do I need to know how to code?
No coding is required for the paper-based design exercises. These guides do not teach game programming.
Do I need a particular game engine?
No. The exercises focus on design concepts and can be completed with paper, a pencil and a PDF reader.
Do I need to buy every course?
No. Choose a topic that fits your current question. Later guides assume you can describe a simple game idea, but purchases are separate.
Are there subscriptions?
No. Each listed price is a one-time price in EUR.
How do payments work?
A course button opens a short preparation page, then sends you to an external payment page. If checkout is not available, you can contact us.
How are guides delivered?
The guide is sent to the email used for the order after payment is confirmed, normally within two business days. See the Instant Access Policy for details.
Is delivery always instant?
No. Delivery may require manual confirmation. Do not assume that a payment receipt includes the guide; contact us if it has not arrived within two business days.
How do I request the free guide?
Open Free Map and use the email request button. No payment is needed. The guide is sent by email, normally within two business days.
Can I request a refund?
Please read the Refund Policy. You can contact us about cancellation, duplicate payments, missing files or content that does not match its description. Applicable consumer rights remain protected.
Can I share the files?
The guides are licensed for personal learning. Do not resell, upload or redistribute the files. Your original work from the exercises remains yours.
Do I receive a certificate or individual feedback?
No certificate, assessment or individual mentoring is included. The guides are for independent study.
Can I read the files on a phone?
Yes, with a PDF reader. A larger screen or printed worksheet may be more comfortable for maps and diagrams.
